American Mah Jongg has always been more than a game to me—it’s been a source of connection, healing, and joy.

I began learning mahjong after completing chemo and radiation in 2022, during a time when I was transitioning from "patient" to "survivor." The game’s strategy, challenge, and rituals helped reawaken my sense of self—as an intelligent, whole woman with passions and purpose beyond the cancer experience. It reconnected me with community and re-awakened the mental clarity I had lost to the chemo fog.

This shop grew from that journey and from a belief that no one should ever feel left out of a game meant to bring people together. Some of my products support accessibility, some make it easier to play anywhere, and all are designed to help every player feel welcome—whether at the kitchen table, a coffee shop, or halfway around the world.
